The exhibition invites viewers to relish in the depths of nature's beauty. With each painting you are enticed by the enchanting allure of wandering through a lush landscape, igniting a sense of wondering, and contemplation.
The forest path is a time-honoured metaphor frequently used in literature, art and music to depict life’s journey, personal growth, and complexities of the mind. It symbolises a move away from couch comfort into an unknown space, stepping off the familiar well-trodden path and into a place of fear, or solace, enchantment, and maybe a secret to call your own.
The forest beckons you down a Pathless Path. Unable to turn, you’re losing yourself in the dim light and dark shadows, fearful of towering giants above and entangled foliage below, you press on with only subdued light to lead you as you get lost getting found.
